Figure placing 1.000 solar panels on the roof of a Fair's existing pavillion. How would this affect wind load calculations?
VENTO teamed up with architectural and engineering firm Studio Marzullo for the redesign of a pavilion roof at Milan Fiera Rho, incorporating about a thousand solar panels.
🏗 The Challenge: accurately calculate the wind load on the fair's pavilion, complementing Euro Code calculations.
💡 The Solution: collaborating with the designer, VENTO developed four models, each refining the building's geometry and surrounding conditions. The precision journey depicted in the images showcases how incorporating real-world details significantly reduced estimated loads.
🌟 Endorsed Reliability: VENTO's accuracy revolutionized the approach, gaining approval from both the designer and a Third-Party Inspector. In an industry where Codes often overestimate loads - relying on zero-dimensional formulas - VENTO’s digital twins offer precision grounded in real-world simulations.
